TWO NIGHTS IN NEWQUAY // BLOG

Spent last few days down south enjoying the sun, sand and a few cold ones on the beaches of Cornwall before work kicks off and i’m back on the road again. I can’t remember the last time I flew my drone and its literally been gathering dust for ages so I made some extra effort this time around, the conditions made for some extra saucy surf photos. Good times!

You can pick up a limited print of these drone shots in my shop.

Enjoy.

AN EVENING AT OLD HARRYS ROCKS

Old Harrys Rocks, a unique rock formation located on the South Coast of England that appears on my Instagram explore feed pretty much every day in some way or another, it's one of the most photographed locations in the UK and for good reason. As much as I've always thought about visiting and taking some photos, I've been some what reluctant to capture the same kind of images as so many other photographers do on a daily basis, that being said I couldn't resist any longer. It was time.

Here are some of the photos from my evening at Old Harrys Rocks featuring my friend Hugh, two climbers with balls big-enough to abseil down one of those vertical cliff faces and an unknown couple that had just got married.

For those interested I took these on my Sony A7RII w/ Sigma 35mm 1.4 & a Canon 70-200mm 2.8 lens. A DJI Mavic Pro and a Bronica ETRS Medium Format film camera w/ a few rolls of Portra 160 film (although I kinda ruined both films because there was a bit of paper stuck inside the camera.. I'll post a separate blog with those pictures somewhere down the line).

For anyone interested, I have added two drone images from this trip to my shop

Peace.
